Deloitte brings Model ML to the heart of global M&A

5 MIN. READ

Deloitte, one of the world's leading professional services firms, has partnered with Model ML to bring specialist AI workflows into its M&A practice, marking another major enterprise customer win for the rapidly growing financial services AI company.

Less than two years after launching, Model ML now works with many of the world's leading financial institutions. Its collaboration with Deloitte, which advises nearly 90% of the Fortune Global 500, places the company's AI platform inside one of the organisations advising many of the world's largest companies and most complex transactions. The partnership marks another major enterprise milestone following Model ML's $75 million Series A financing last year and reinforces its rapid emergence as a trusted AI platform for financial services.

As the volume and complexity of information involved in transactions continues to increase, Deloitte has worked closely with Model ML to deploy specialist AI workflows across document review, due diligence and transaction analysis. Rather than relying on general-purpose AI tools, the platform provides purpose-built financial workflows that automate repetitive processes while generating verified, client-ready outputs from trusted data.

Model ML's model-agnostic architecture also enables every task to be routed to the AI model that offers the best combination of capability, speed and cost, ensuring firms can continually benefit from advances across the AI ecosystem without changing how teams work.

The platform continues to evolve alongside Deloitte's teams, with ongoing feedback helping shape new capabilities and workflows as AI technology develops.

Chaz Englander, CEO and Co-founder of Model ML, said: "The biggest opportunity in AI isn't giving financial professionals another chatbot. It's rebuilding the workflows that sit behind every transaction. Deloitte has been an exceptional partner in that process. We've spent months working alongside their teams, continuously improving the platform based on real-world feedback, and that's enabled us to build AI that genuinely understands how M&A professionals work."

Udit Gandhi, Partner at Deloitte, said: "The volume and speed of information involved in M&A continues to increase, and our clients increasingly expect AI to help deliver better outcomes. Model ML stood out because it wasn't simply a general-purpose AI tool adapted for finance. It was built around the specific workflows we rely on every day, from document review and diligence through to analysis, helping our teams reach better answers faster."
